Before we get to the list of my (42) favourite books of the year, I want to clarify that a few of these were not published in 2019, but made it to the top of my pile this year. While several books I read were abandoned, or I finished them but would not recommend, this is a comprehensive list of the titles I enjoyed and feel others will too!

To keep up with my book recommendations, follow me on Instagram (I share books I love in my stories) and keep up with This Mom Loves: the Podcast, as I have moved from Favourite Things posts to sharing my fave things on the show (don’t worry; there are always links in the shownotes if you’re not yet a podcast person).

Did you know that I also just launched the This Mom Loves Virtual Book Club Facebook group? Our January 2020 pick is The Gift of Failure by Jessica Lahey – come on over and join us!
