This time around I’m bringing you some wise words on ambition from Reese Witherspoon (actress, producer, entrepreneur and mom of three) in the latest issue of Glamour magazine.
As moms, we have a unique opportunity to keep changing this attitude that ambition is an ugly quality in women. That it makes you unlikeable. What is likeable anyway? I’m allergic to that word…We have to do our part to change the idea that a woman with passion and ambition is out only for herself…And when your ambition pays off, I encourage you to give your sisters a little goose out the door by helping to nurture their ambitions.
Thank you to all of those women (and men) out there who have encouraged me (and continue to encourage me) along the way…I am trying to do my best to pay it forward!
